MusicxxAddicted Saw them a year or so ago at Sonic City Music Festival and the only reason I didn't buy this immediately is because 'Hermits on Holiday' isn't on there. Still, I keep coming back to it. Reminds me alot of the movie Frank, both sonically and emotionally. Great band, hope they collaborate some more in the future.

bmouf_01 Cate Le Bon and Tim Presely are my two favorite artists/songwriters right now. Their improvised style and off the top of the head lyrics/music make for some really unique and inspiring tunes. With Drinks you get the best of both styles. I'm amazed at how quickly they come up with such great material while doing so many different projects. I guess it has been said that two heads are better than one. I love you Drinks. Keep doing what you're doing. Favorite track: Corner Shops.

saishigo The first eight tracks form a marvelous sequence: silly and casually throwaway yet mysteriously beautiful at one and the same time. A memento of a time that has passed but which will never be forgotten; it slips through one's fingers every time you listen to this album. Favorite track changes practically with each listen but right now I'd say "Blue from the Dark." Favorite track: Corner Shops.

The search for where the hell Cate has been putting her music has come to an end. In all seriousness Cate le Bon is changing her style from psychedelic folk to a neo-art pop/neo-psychedelic hybrid that confuses and intrigues the mind. This release might be small, but a continuation of Crab Day's style. Cate has learned a lot from DRINKS it seems and she's bringing it right to her main audience.
